USTC Residence
VIP Villa
VIP Villa is the on-campus residence area exclusively reserved, designed and built for the most distinguished faculty members of USTC, e.g. Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Science/Engineering. The beautiful and quiet neighborhood is located on the east campus of USTC.
Living on campus completely frees the leading experts from the time and efforts spent on daily commute. Moreover, the experts will have more opportunities to interact with each other and benefit their research.
USTC Garden
In 2009, USTC completed the dedicated deluxe residence district for its faculty and staff members - the USTC Garden Compound. USTC Garden Compound consists of multiple medium to high-rise apartment buildings, with eight different floor plans:

Lying in the south of Hefei, it neighbors the South Campus of USTC, covering an area of 240 thousand square meters. Close to the downtown, it has convenient public transportation to any popular places of the city. Besides, frequent shuttles are available between USTC Garden and the other three USTC campuses, with the single way to each of them taking roughly 10-15 minutes.
USTC has started to construct the extended section of the USTC Garden, which will provide plenty apartment units for a good number of outstanding scholars to be recruited.
